OUR PRAYER WALL

Jesus tells us:  "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

Please lift up our dear cousin KG in your prayers. After her recent surgery, she’s back in the hospital battling an infection. She’s in a lot of pain and feeling very frightened. Surgery was planned for this morning to address the infection.

Pray that the surgery is successful, that she recovers fully from both the infection and the surgery, and that she feels the comforting presence of Jesus, knowing she is deeply loved and never alone in this difficult time.

That we may hold our world reverently, beyond what we can imagine, as we deal with our own suffering & that of others, similar to a tiny mustard seed of faith in the cracks of the earth, with a promise of growth, let us pray.

Dear Prayer Warriors, We have been asked to pray in a special way for a parishioner and his family. JK's 2 year old cousin, Charlotte, drown in her grandmother's pool in Florida this week. She just turned 2 last week and is the youngest of 3 children. As you can imagine the entire family has been devastated by this loss. Lord Jesus, we pray for this family who has lost their precious child. Please fill them with Your peace and grace and surround them with Your love and hope. Strengthen them with the power to continue on. Heal their broken hearts and help them to find a path to healing. Give them the grace to endure their sorrow and the hope to trust in Your goodness, even in the midst of their pain. Eternal rest grant unto this child, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. In the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, we thank you for delivering my sister-in-law Diane from an illness for which doctors suggested Hospice, twice. She has emerged from oblivion, with abilities thought impossible, that may result in more years of an enjoyable life, watching her grandsons grow.

Please pray for Marsha, as she is waiting to meet Jesus, after many many years of recurring cancer. She is a beacon of light to all who know her, showing that it's possible to live a life of joy and kindness in the face of physical pain and emotional distress.
